Hyundai has officially launched the upgraded 2024 Sonata midsize sedan in a comprehensive YouTube news conference where Simon Loasby, an influential designer and head of the Hyundai Style Group at Hyundai Motor Company, took viewers through the remarkable design enhancements.
José Muñoz, president and Global COO of Hyundai Motor Company, as well as president and CEO of Hyundai Motor North America, delved into the reasons behind the resurgence of consumer interest in sedans. Hyundai’s commitment to regularly refreshing its Sonata lineup and surpassing customer expectations is evident in the latest 2024 Sonata, set to hit our Minnesota Hyundai dealership this winter.
“With nearly three million sedans sold in the U.S. over the past twelve months, Hyundai stands poised to cater to new buyers and existing sedan enthusiasts with the beautifully enhanced Sonata models,” Muñoz affirmed. “The availability of Sonata with All-Wheel-Drive adds a new dimension, appealing to a broader range of sedan enthusiasts.”
For the first time, Hyundai’s proven Hyundai TRACtion (HTRAC) AWD system is an option for the Sonata. Paired with the 2.5L engine, HTRAC ensures all-weather capabilities and heightened driving performance by dynamically distributing torque between the front and rear wheels, adapting to road conditions and driving scenarios.
